This Insurance Age Top 100 regional independent insurance broker and financial services group was experiencing a period of sustained growth arising from an aggressive strategy of acquisition and new market development. It required strategic direction on how to communicate its plans to new customers and partner suppliers whilst reassuring existing customers.

Back to basics. A programme of sustained corporate communications was undertaken by MK to ensure that both stakeholder and external audiences understood that whilst the Alan Boswell Group was growing, the core qualities of the original company remained true. The vehicles chosen for the message included raising the regional profile of the company through sports sponsorships at County level and the establishment of a strong local commitment through press releases and community activity and involvement.

This was then further enhanced by a specific and targeted communication programme against the corporate and professional services sector, with a restatement of the company's core standards through literature.

The Alan Boswell Group continues to flourish and is expanding throughout the region. Its professional services market share benefits from sustained growth, with a strong operating presence within the City of London.
